TEMPO Call for Scores Selection

TEMPO New Music Ensemble has selected Oliver’s trio Illuminated by the Light of Two Ships Passing in the Night (violin, cello, piano) in their recent Call for Scores.  The ensemble will perform Illuminated March 5, 2017 in Northbridge, California.

July 11-28: VCCA Fellowship

The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts has invited Oliver for a fellowship at their artist colony on 400 acres of Blue Ridge farmland. While in residence Oliver will be working on a new choral composition, setting poetry by Ruth Kessler.

Apr. 30 & May 1: Veridian Symphony performs Lunastella Fuga

The Veridian Symphony will perform Oliver’s string orchestra work Lunastella Fuga in its “Now and Then” program on April 30 and May 1.  Oliver’s piece was selected as a winner in the Veridian Symphony’s 2016 Composition Competition.
