Apr. 30 & May 1: Veridian Symphony performs Lunastella Fuga
The Veridian Symphony will perform Oliver’s string orchestra work Lunastella Fuga in its “Now and Then” program on April 30 and May 1. Oliver’s piece was selected as a winner in the Veridian Symphony’s 2016 Composition Competition. Apr. 17: Sun Valley Chamber Winds premieres Krummholz Variations
The Sun Valley Chamber Winds will premiere Oliver’s newest work Krummholz Variations, a tone poem that recalls aspects of life in the alpine zone. Oliver has completed his newest work, Krummholz Variations, an alpine-inspired octet for flute, clarinet, two bassoons, two trumpets and two trombones.
