Originally composed for string quartet, the work has been newly expanded for string orchestra, offering a fresh and richly textured perspective on the music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2019, Oliver traveled to Monteverde, Costa Rica\u2014one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Just after arriving from Boston, he rose before dawn to birdwatch with a local naturalist. In five hours, they spotted over 50 species.
