The innovative\u00a0chamber ensemble Some Assembly Required<\/a> will present\u00a0the Boston premiere of Oliver’s Krummholz Variations<\/em>, with three performances in Salem, Cambridge and West Newton.<\/p>\n

Oliver’s piece was commissioned as a companion for the same instrumentation of\u00a0Stravinsky’s beloved\u00a0Octet\u00a0<\/em>for winds and brass. Some Assembly Required will present it alongside the Stravinsky, as well as a special wind arrangement of Schubert’s\u00a0Quintet in A Major “Trout.”<\/p>\n
