The Assebet Valley Mastersingers (Robert Eaton, Director) will perform We Exist (lyrics by Naseem Rakha) in Shrewsbury, MA. We Exist responds to the 2017 violence in Charlottesville, VA with a call for love and respect of people of all races, faiths, and genders. The Mastersingers will combine forces with the Algonquin Regional High School Chamber Choir to amplify this cry for compassion.

The program, entitled “Bridges to Unity” also includes contemporary choral music by Cynthia Wong and Dan Forest.
