The innovative chamber ensemble Some Assembly Required will present the Boston premiere of Oliver’s Krummholz Variations, with three performances in Salem, Cambridge and West Newton.

Oliver’s piece was commissioned as a companion for the same instrumentation of Stravinsky’s beloved Octet for winds and brass. Some Assembly Required will present it alongside the Stravinsky, as well as a special wind arrangement of Schubert’s Quintet in A Major “Trout.”
