Juventas will perform Oliver’s Green Mountain Fugue in its “Family Photos” program, alongside string quartets by Derrick Skye, Kian Ravaei, Jerod Tate and Clarice Assad. The program traces each artist’s personal journey and heritage, while inviting listeners to reflect on the diverse threads woven into our shared national journey.

Green Mountain Fugue was commissioned by Julia, Heidi and Laurel Copeland in loving memory of their mother, Lynda Copeland. Oliver shares, “it’s is a piece about family, love, and a tight-knit community in the rolling mountains of Southern Vermont.”
