Saturday, Juventas will premiere Oliver’s very newest work, In the Direction of Dreams (clarinet, cello, piano). This three-movement trio was inspired by Oliver’s favorite walk alongside Walden Pond, through Adams Woods and down to Fairhaven Bay on the Sudbury River.

The concert, entitled This Land is Your Land, commemorates the 50th anniversaries of the Wild & Scenic Rivers and National Trails Systems Acts with music inspired by American Landscapes.  In addition to Oliver’s piece, the program also includes music by Linda Chase, Nell Shaw Cohen, Heather Gilligan, Michael Ippolito, Libby Meyer, Rachel Panitch and Ari Sussman.
