The American Prize named Oliver a semi-finalist for the 2017 prize in vocal chamber music composition for Connect All. We All Connect (soprano, horn, piano). The piece, commissioned by Anne Howarth, explores the strength and fragility of human connection through poignant lyrics by mater palindromist Barry Duncan. It is the capstone track on Oliver’s new album You Are Not Alone.
