The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) has invited Oliver back for a fourth fellowship this summer.  A storied artist colony on 400 acres of Blue Ridge farmland, VCCA provides composers, authors and visual artists space and time to work in an inspirational setting.

While in residence, Oliver will be working on a new arrangement of his short opera Symposium, to be performed by the Boston Opera Collaborative and Boston New Music Initiative in November.
