Premiere performances of Krummholz Variations continue: the Hope College Wind Ensemble will present the Midwest debut in Holland, Michigan. A nationwide consortium of 13 ensembles commissioned Oliver to write this alpine-inspired work  as a companion piece for the instrumentation of Stravinsky’s Octet for winds and brass.
